Coal Mine

Description

It’s actually made up of two coal mines — a newer one, close to the surface, and an older one which caved in a few decades ago. Recently, miners in the modern mine accidentally broke through to an intact part of the older mine.

The mine is full of a bio-luminescent fungus which grows along access routes where breathable air flows. Conway and Shannon use the fungus to navigate, attempting to follow it to Shannon’s parents. The mine is separated into several scenes navigated by passages/doorways (correct doorways marked with fungus), and following the wrong passage dumps you back to the beginning of the area. In order to see the fungus, Conway and Shannon must disable the lights in each section of the mine.
